After a long, storied, and successful career as the frontman of iconic OPM pioneers The Eraserheads, Ely Buendia expanded his solo repertoire with his second full-length album, Method Adaptor in 2024. As a seasoned songwriter and storyteller, the album is an introspective look into his career from his point of view, tackling how he always tried to adapt to the times and the seasons of his life.

I took charge of the creative direction of the album, and as it is a largely personal body of work, we sought to reflect the rainbow of emotions encapsulated in these songs with as much vulnerability as possible. The result is an album identity that deconstructs as much as it integrates, with minimalist archival photography, chromatic coffee spills, and scans from a more tangible time, all calling back to the raw and authentic nature of his creative process—the method behind the madness.
